Our mission is to provide community resources, affordable housing, educational services and healthy meals to families in need, so they may lead healthy and productive lives.
WHO ARE WE?
Project C.A.R.E.S. (Caring Adults Really Equal Success) is a non-for profit 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Funded Afterschool Program working to close the achievement gap for school-aged children with educational deficits. We have been awarded the Federal 21st Century Grant 11 years consecutively. The federal funding is a rigorous competition of community learning centers and schools all competing to receive these federal funds. The program funding helps Project C.A.R.E.S. students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
